L’Espurna

L’Espurna de Lleida is a space designed to enjoy good food around the cuisine of Jesús Gimena. With a very personal recipe book, always based on local and seasonal products; with gastronomic experiences tailored to each moment and diner. A proposal that is complemented by a careful and wide selection of wines from Lleida, from the DO Costers del Segre, as well as from the rest of Catalonia, Spain, and the most renowned international wine regions.

Proximity and seasonality are a duo that comes to life in each of Jesús Gimena’s proposals. In the menu of L’Espurna, we will always find starters, main courses, and desserts from the most identifying cuisine of Lleida. As well as other proposals with an author’s perspective faithful to the landscape of the plain and mountain of Lleida; but without complexes when introducing other more innovative products or techniques.

Tradition and creation. The grill and the broths with which the chef lacquers the fish and meats, evidence his respect for tradition. But Jesús Gimena also signs new dishes, fundamentally around the conceptual association of traditional products, which are transformed into stories that speak to us about autumn, winter, spring, summer; or snails, pork, sweet fruit from Lleida…

In the heart of Lleida. With an exceptional location, Salmerón street 10, between the Upper Zone and the Commercial Axis. Close to the AVE station, the leisure area, and the main institutions of the city.

L’Espurna has a main dining room for about thirty people, which can accommodate private celebrations or professional meetings of up to sixty people. As well as two other private dining rooms, for up to twenty and thirty diners, respectively.

L’Espurna is one of the restaurants on the Lleida Wine Route where visitors can enjoy contemporary cuisine, local products and wines from the region. A gastronomic destination in Lleida known for its creative style and modern interpretation of traditional cuisine.
