Espai Macià

The Espai Macià aims to promote the legacy of the figure, trajectory, and worldview of Francesc Macià. Additionally, it seeks to foster an emotional connection with the era and the significance of the former President of the Generalitat de Catalunya. The most important aspect is to place the visitor in this historical moment of the country, but also in the subsequent years until reaching today, where Macià’s dream of freedom and progress still holds relevance.

The Espai Macià is conceived with a clear intention of becoming an essential stop for tourism visiting Les Borges Blanques or the Terres de Lleida, and to serve as the starting point for the tourist exploration of the area. At the same time, it aims to be a must-visit for all lovers of the country’s history and is one of the locations included in the Spaces of Memory of Catalonia.
