The capital of the Garrigues region is located between the central plain of the Catalan depression and the first foothills of the pre-coastal ranges.

One of the most beautiful places in Les Borges Blanques is the Terrall promenade, in the heart of the city, with a large garden featuring a variety of plants and trees. Within the enclosure, there is also an ancient olive press (17th century).

Olive oil is the most important trade in agriculture, and one of the characteristic features of the Les Garrigues region and the city, which is the capital of Olive Oil. It is made from the arbequina olive variety and is recognized worldwide.
