Fulleda is an atypical village in the Garrigues region, as its topography enjoys a climate and landscape that many Garriguencs envy, especially in the summer. Every afternoon or earlier, we receive the sea breeze, making the temperature much more bearable, even too cool for some. In the autumn, the lush forests of the surrounding mountains give us fantastic combinations of reddish and yellowish colors, reminding us that the time of long nights has ended, and we meet the summer visitors again, returning to routine. It’s time to harvest the grapes, always quickly so they don’t rot, while the almonds are at their peak, and the midday siestas and swims in the pool come to an end. In winter, we do see fog, but it doesn’t stay for long; it prefers the plain and quickly dissipates. A snowfall per year so we don’t forget, and thus, with the olives in the bag – as always, among the best in the world – we welcome spring, and the streets come back to life.
