WINERY
The Vila Corona Winery is located in Vilamitjana, in the región of Pallars Jussà. It is a newly built warehouse that dates from 1993, surrounded by 10 hectares of its own vineyards.
The winery has the latest technologies and all the work equipment (tanks, packaging machine…) is made of stainless steel, except for the oak barrels used to age the wines.
The grape varieties we have planted are: Chardonnay, Riesling, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Ull de Llebre, Morastell and Garnatxa negra.
The climate of this area is continental Mediterranean with the influence of the high mountains, given its proximity.
The Conca de Tremp, sub-region of Pallars Jussà, has a very different microclimate, as it is a region closed by altitudes that range between 1,100 and 2,080 metres above sea level. Our vines are planted 500 metres above sea level.
