WINERY
The most personal winery of winegrower Tomàs Cusiné has been recognized as the Best Winery in Catalonia 2012 by the Catalan Association of Sommeliers.
In the town of El Vilosell (Les Garrigues), above 700 metres high, a splendid landscape of garrigue, in the middle of forests, native and foreign vineyards of 20 different varieties, offers the ideal chromaticism to build fresh and elegant wines, the result of a mild microclimate and constant breeze in calcareous and stony lands. The mountain estates in the south of Lleida border with La Conca de Barberà and El Priorat and are located near the Poblet Monastery and the Serra de Prades. The manual harvest, the gentle work of the harvest and the integration of the wines in oak barrels from the centre of France produce far-reaching wines of international prestige. The constant research with microvinifications of all the varietals and estates bring added value to the wines produced there: Drac Màgic white, Drac Màgic red, Finca Barqueres, Auzells, Llebre, Vilosell, Geol, Finca Racons, Finca La Serra and Finca Comabarra.
The winery is located in the old cooperative, in the town square, and in a building designed for the maturation of wines. It exports to more than 40 countries in 5 continents and obtains awards and high scores in competitions and specialized publications.
The wine tourism offer is guided tours, wine tastings and accommodation at the rural Vilosell Wine Hotel.
